The Eternal Impact of Giving

I don’t know the origins of “Giving Tuesday” but anything that encourages us to focus on the “blessing of generosity” seems like a good idea.

I’m sure it’s true that most of you who visit this page are already doing a lot of good for others thru your regular Sunday giving, plus other “causes you support,” including the many giving opportunities made possible by “school fundraisers.”

So, thank you for being thoughtful — for believing in the divine notion that, it really is more blessed to give than to receive.

I know that God often answers prayers thru the kindness of generous people.

I have been so humbled and privileged to see much life-saving and soul-saving activity happening across Ukraine — especially in frontline areas — due in large part to the generosity of God’s people.

Again… thank you.

You have done good — perhaps more good than you realize.

It’s a sweet picture I have in my mind of the heavenly meetings some of you will one day have with those whose lives were made better or whose souls were saved, because you gave… I selfishness hope I get to be a part of making some of those introductions…

Pictured below are a few of our friends, who lost their homes in this war — standing on the steps of a safe warm place they now call home — due to God answering prayers thru generous people like you.
