Help us reach Ukraine with God's Word

A little help please…

Lord willing we will soon be printing thousands more Bibles for the people of Ukraine.

We intend to have an introductory page to help guide the readers to the Scriptures that will teach them soul-saving information about our Lord’s church. (This will be especially helpful due to the abundance of inaccurate teaching happening across a nation that continues to be very receptive to the saving gospel — when they can hear it or read it.)

Look at the list of ten items below… what should be added, subtracted, worded better??? Thanks for your assistance with this project. (You can send me a private message.)

Ten Essential Facts You Will Discover About the Lord’s Church as You Read this Bible:

1. The church belongs to Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “I will build My church.” It is not the church of a country, a tradition, or a human founder (Matthew 16:18)

2. Jesus purchased the church with His own blood. The church is precious because the price paid for it was the precious blood of Christ. (Acts 20:28)

3. Jesus is the head of the church. Christ, not any man on earth, is the supreme authority over His people. (Ephesians 1:22-23; Colossians 1:18)

4. The church is the spiritual body of Christ. Christians are not just members of an organization; they are members of Christ’s body. (1 Corinthians 12:27; Ephesians 4:4)

5. The Lord adds the saved to His church. When we do what the “about 3000” did in Acts 2 we will receive the same blessings: forgiveness of sins, gift of the Holy Spirit, admission into His church/family. (Acts 2:38, 41, 47)

6. People entered Christ through obedient faith. The New Testament shows people hearing the gospel, believing in Jesus, repenting of sin, confessing Christ, and being baptized into Christ. (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Acts 8:36-38; Romans 10:9-10; Galatians 3:27)

7. The church followed the apostles’ teaching. The first Christians continued in the doctrine taught by the apostles, (their inspired words are in this book you now hold), not in later human traditions/teachings. (Acts 2:42)

8. The church worshiped God simply and sincerely. Christians prayed, studied God’s Word, gave, sang—making melody in their hearts, and each Sunday they remembered Jesus during the Lord’s Supper. (Acts 2:42; Acts 20:7; Ephesians 5:19; 1 Corinthians 16:2)

9. The church is the family of God. In Christ, believers become brothers and sisters. This “forever family” is not limited by nationality, language, or borders. (1 Timothy 3:15; Galatians 3:26-28; Ephesians 2:19)

10. The mission of the church is to share the gospel with the world, to make disciples (students/followers of Jesus), to love our neighbors (regardless of nationality) as Jesus loves us (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16; John 13:34)
