A Rescue Ukraine Ministry Update!
A Rescue Ukraine Ministry Update!
Dear Friends, Donors, and Prayer Partners,
Thank you for your faithful prayers, generous support, and unwavering love for the people of Ukraine who are enduring unspeakable evil. Again last night, there were more attacks, more deaths, including two small children.
With the help of God we must remain determined to overcome this unprecedented evil with good. Every prayer you offer and every gift you give helps us meet genuine physical needs while pointing people to the greatest hope of all — Jesus Christ.
As this horrific war enters yet another difficult phase, your prayers and generosity continue to remind our Ukrainian brothers and sisters that they are not forgotten. Thank you for standing with them — and with us — as together we seek to glorify God by serving others and sharing His gospel.
Rescue Ukraine exists to meet genuine physical needs while sharing the saving message of Jesus Christ through faithful Christians and congregations across Ukraine. Whether we are supporting gospel preachers, planting churches, distributing Bibles, caring for refugees, providing emergency relief, or encouraging brethren near the frontlines, every humanitarian project is also an evangelistic opportunity. Our desire is not only to help people survive this war, but to help them prepare for eternity.
As we thank God for what He has accomplished in recent weeks, we are also looking ahead to the opportunities He is placing before us. The war and the work continues, and by His grace, so does our commitment to serving the people of Ukraine.
Camp Amerikraine
We have just concluded another incredible Camp Amerikraine, and our hearts are filled with gratitude. Hundreds of Christians, families, and young people gathered for worship, Bible study, fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual renewal.
For many, camp is much more than a summer event. It is a refuge from the stress of war, a reunion of God’s family, and a reminder that our hope is found in Jesus Christ — not in governments or circumstances. Friendships were strengthened, faith was renewed, and lives were changed.
We rejoice that baptisms continued during camp, and we continue to receive reports of people obeying the gospel throughout Ukraine. Even in the darkest days of war, God continues to add souls to His kingdom. Yes!
Even before unpacking from this year’s camp, preparations have already begun for our 25th Camp Amerikraine next summer. What began as a small gathering has grown into the largest annual gatherings of Christians in Europe. We are praying that this silver anniversary will be our greatest opportunity yet to strengthen Christians, encourage families, and bring even more souls to Christ.
10,000 Large-Print Ukrainian Bibles
Another exciting opportunity before us is the printing and distribution of 10,000 large-print Ukrainian Bibles — a first for Ukraine!
Each Bible will include:
— A clear introduction explaining God’s plan of salvation.
— A brief introduction to Christ’s church as revealed in the New Testament.
— The words “Presented by the Churches of Christ” printed on the cover.
Our prayer is that these Bibles will not simply be read—they will be studied, believed, obeyed, and shared with others. We pray they will help introduce thousands of people to God’s saving message and to the church we read about in the New Testament.
Emergency Sleeping Bags
A life-saving shipment will soon be heading to Ukraine — 10,000 emergency sleeping bags for families enduring another brutally cold winter, without access to sources of heat that you and I take for granted.
Each sleeping bag is packaged in a pouch directing the recipient to RescueUkraine.com, where they can receive clear, Bible-based information about salvation, learn about Christ and His church, and request additional biblical resources.
We want to help people survive the cold, but we also want them to discover the eternal hope found in Jesus Christ.
With this project, our goal is simple: Keep people warm… and save souls.
Supporting More Gospel Preachers
While relief projects help meet some immediate needs, one of the greatest long-term investments we can make is in faithful men who preach the gospel every day.
By God’s grace, Rescue Ukraine is already helping support more than a dozen Ukrainian ministers and ministries. These faithful servants are preaching Christ in communities devastated by war, strengthening congregations, planting churches, comforting grieving families, teaching the lost, discipling new Christians, serving in prison evangelism and Christ-centered addiction recovery ministries, and encouraging brethren throughout Ukraine — including in areas near the frontlines.
Yet the opportunities continue to grow
One of our most urgent needs is support for at least three additional Ukrainian gospel preachers.
Long after emergency sleeping bags have been distributed and Bibles have been placed into waiting hands, these men will still be opening God’s Word, leading people to Christ, strengthening His church, and equipping others to do the same.
Supporting a gospel preacher is one of the greatest eternal investments we can make.
“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!” — Romans 10:15
Continuing the Work
As the war continues, so does our need to step up.
Through faithful Christians and congregations, Rescue Ukraine continues to:
— Care for refugees and displaced families.
— Provide food, medicine, shelter, winter relief, and emergency assistance.
— Support gospel preachers and help plant new congregations.
— Distribute Bibles and evangelistic materials.
— Encourage brethren living and worshiping in frontline communities.
— Support effective prison evangelism where inmates are hearing and obeying the gospel.
— Assist a Christ-centered drug rehabilitation ministry where lives are being transformed through the power of Jesus Christ.
Please Pray
We would be grateful for your continued prayers:
— For peace and justice in Ukraine.
— For God’s protection over our Ukrainian brothers and sisters.
— For open hearts to receive the gospel.
— For support for at least three additional gospel preachers.
— For the printing and distribution of 10,000 large-print Ukrainian Bibles.
— For the safe arrival and effective distribution of 10,000 emergency sleeping bags.
— For God’s blessings as we prepare for the 25th Camp Amerikraine.
— For my upcoming trip to Ukraine, especially as I spend time encouraging brethren and congregations in several frontline communities.
Please pray for safety, wisdom, open doors to teach the gospel, and opportunities to strengthen God’s people.

Thank you for your fellowship in the gospel. This could not happen without our Father and His compassionate children.
