Privacy Policy – Rescue Ukraine App

Rescue Ukraine, a ministry initiative of the Rescue Ukraine Charity Organization, respects and protects the privacy of all users. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection and usage for the Rescue Ukraine mobile application (the “App”).
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We designed this App to function without collecting, storing, or sharing any personally identifiable information (PII). Specifically:
No user accounts are required.
No names, emails, phone numbers, or other identifiers are requested or stored.
No location tracking, camera, microphone, contact list, or device storage access is used.
2. Third-Party Services
To support basic functionality (such as calendar syncing and event display), the App integrates third-party services, including Google Firebase and Cloud Firestore. These services may collect anonymous technical data (e.g., device model, OS version, crash reports) for diagnostic and performance optimization purposes.

3. Permissions and Connectivity
The App only requests access to internet connectivity, which is necessary to load data such as event listings, resources, and updates. No other permissions (e.g., camera, location, contacts) are requested.
4. Children’s Privacy
The Rescue Ukraine App is intended for users aged 16 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently received such information, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate action, including deletion.
5. Internet Usage
An active internet connection is required for full functionality. However, no user-specific data is transmitted or stored during this process.
